BAW Garten w/ atelier le balto

In September 2023, together with atelier le balto and under the artistic direction of Klaus Biesenbach, we were commissioned by Berlin Art Week and Kulturprojekte Berlin to create the BAW Garten (Berlin Art Week Garden) in front of the Neue Nationalgalerie. For the duration of the entire festival „more than 50 trees in plant troughs and seating areas are set up along the façade of the Neue Nationalgalerie—a forestation of the exhibition building’s exterior continues into the interior through the reflection of its huge glass front.“ The BAW Garten functioned as a place for performances, talks, workshops and as the festival‘s meeting point.
